- Adoration - coming before God, acknowledge the holiness of God and praise Him. If you find this hard, try using a psalm
- Confession - recognising your faults, asking for forgiveness and the power to overcome them.
- Thanksgiving - gratitude for all God has done
- Supplication - asking for help and for our requests
