Founder Profile
The founder of Bethanya Vision Ministries is Rev. S. Zacharaiah. He was born in Andhara Pradesh (India) in 1939, to God fearing parents. God called him to a full time ministry when he was twenty years old. His wife, Mrs. Elizabeth, also works with him in the ministry. They moved permanently to Chennai, Tamilnadu. God has blessed them with four sons and two daughters, all of which are also involved in the ministry of the Lord.
Rev. Zacharaiah started his first ministry at the Saint Thomas mount in Chennai, Tamilnadu. In forty years of his ministry for the Lord, he has trained several pastors, and helped establish many churches in remote villages of India (Tamilnadu and Andhra Pradesh.) God has also enabled him to take care of orphans, street and slum children, as well as widows and the elderly people. His vision and mission is to help bring the poor and street children out of their poverty, and make them cornerstones of the churches.
