Bethany:
- Believe in God’s power - with God all things are possible. We will depend totally and only on God. Not in organization, programs or human efforts, decisions will be based not on the earthly resources available but on God’s call. God provides where he guides. Ps. 20:7
- Everybody needs God – every human being that you have ever laid eyes on is someone for whom Jesus died. 1Tim. 2:4 - Everybody needs to Grow - Paul wrote: speaking the truth in love we will in all things grow up into them who is the head that is Christ (Eph. 4:15)
- Talents – every believer has one or more spiritual gifts that are to be used to build the body of Christ. 1st Cor. 12 Eph.4: 7 – 8
- Honor - The Lord with our wealth – giving to God helps us conquer greed, helps us properly manage God’s resources and open’s us up to receive God’s special blessings. Prov. 3: 9
- Alive in Evangelism – sharing the good news of Jesus Christ is both the responsibility and privilege of every believer. Matt. 28: 18 -20. We believe this is the only reason we are still worshipping God under the Heaven.
- Never to receive the Glory - every real and lasting accomplishment is the work of God, therefore He alone receives all the Glory Jer. 9:24
- Yearning for effectiveness Psalms 108; 12. We are not just survivals in this generation, but contributors. With God we are going to do Mighty things. We are Movers of the immovable. 2 Cor 2; 14. We abound in Gods work 1 Cor 15; 54
