Scriptural Answers To Some Questions/Issues

Here are some questions on various issues, that we have been asked at Respond prayer website, as well as at other places. So we are providing some Scriptures to look up, that may help answer some of those questions asked. The Scriptures aren't printed out, because it is very important that you look them up, since the Bible is the Word of God. Allow Him to speak to you about these issues, when you actually look up the answers and read from His Word, personally.

1. Question: I try to live a good life, go to church at least on Sunday mornings, help people in need, and believe there is a God. Isn't that enough to get to go to Heaven some day? Is Jesus really the ONLY way we can be saved?

2. Question: Some people talk about how a Christian needs to be filled with the Holy Spirit or Holy Ghost. Do we really need to be filled with the Holy Spirit?

3. Question: Oh, I pick my Bible up and read a verse or so once in a while. Is it really all that important to the Lord that we read the Bible every day?

4. Question: I talk to the Lord when I think about doing it, but I stay so busy that I don't have much time to pray very long. Does He really expect me to pray to Him every day?

5. Question: I feel bashful trying to praise and worship the Lord, especially if anyone is around. Is it really necessary to praise and worship the Lord?

6. Question: Do I really need to attend church regularly? Couldn't I just listen to some televangelists, or worship the Lord when I'm fishing, cooking, and etc.?

7. Question: Isn't it really just the job of preachers, evangelists, and missionaries to witness and spread the Gospel for Jesus Christ? I'm kind of bashful about doing things like that. Is it really necessary for me to also help witness about Christ, and help spread the Gospel?

9. Question: What does the Lord say about me needing to be strong and courageous?

19. Question: I feel weak, and need more strength from the Lord. How can I get more strength?

24. Question: I don't think I have an ability or talent in any thing, do I?

27. Question: I worry about things too much. What can I do about that?
