A Word about Us
God has called us and given us the privilege to serve Him & the 'crown of His creation' in the villages in and around Hyderabad. We have started the work in the year 2004 in a very small way and we have to go a very long way to do more for Him.
We have formed as a trust and registered it as a trust in Andhra Pradesh, India (Registered Number 63/2004) in the name of “Serve all in need trust-India”.
There are seven members in the Trust and they are real source of help, support and guidance to us. They are part of this small work of the Lord and they too participate in the work whenever time permits for them.
We also have host of supporters, sponsors, volunteers and helpers who are with us right from the beginning and they do wonderful service. We thank and praise God for all such people who are with us and shouldering the responsibility of reaching out. We are getting more and more volunteers to shoulder the responsibilities.
Our main work is evangelism. We go as a group, and individuals, meet the people in gatherings, meetings, open airs, Churches, Women’s Meets, Youth Meets, Sunday Schools and in homes and share with them the gospel of Christ. It is through singing, sharing the Word of God, witnessing and sharing the testimonies of individuals.
We do have Prayer Groups, Prayer Cells to encourage the local people to be with the Lord for their needs and the needs of others. It is also to encourage them to get involved in the work of the Lord through their intercession.
We also do social work. Most of the people we are dealing with are of from poor and very poor background and only few of them are from middle class background. Therefore, whenever we come across needy ones, we try to help them. The help can be in any form, as per the needs of the people: medical, education, mites, money etc.
Support of the deserving, poor Students to continue their studies, we have a support group. They are supporting few students for their full studies and few of them help us with books, uniforms, stationeries etc. We have regular “free community study center”, “free tuition center” to cater to their needs and help them in their studies.
We have “free tailoring center” for girls and ladies. It is to help the school dropouts and idle ones to learn something which will help them to be occupied and at the same time, help them earn some more money to support their families.
Support of the poor, old and uncared people, we want to have a "Home for the aged". But there is a delay in starting this project and therefore, we have started supporting few ladies in providing their minimum provision with a small amount for other expenses.
We also do counseling work. There is a vast need in this area, especially among the married people and the younger generation. The needs here are very great but we are not able to justify the needs due to want of resources. Though we are in the service of the Lord since 1978, it is just from 2004 we started this work on our own. It may take some more time to get in touch with people to do more for all such people.
Our works keep growing as per the needs and availability of resources. We can not say that ‘we have come a long way’, but we can say that ‘we keep going’ and have to ‘go a long way’ to help the poor, needy, downtrodden, oppressed, uncared and under privileged people who are our own.
